2nd Shift Supervisor

Miyoshi America is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Supervisor for a great opportunity on our 2nd shift. This position will be an integral component of our growth. Come join Miyoshi and be part of a great team!

The ideal candidate will possess 5 plus years of manufacturing supervisory experience paired with leadership skills that inspire, motivate and encourage team members to follow the values set forth by Miyoshi America.

Position Summary

Accountable for achieving established departmental goals; including employee safety, product quality and accuracy, staff productivity, scheduling efficiencies and the oversight of equipment performance and downtime.


Employee Safety

  • Maintains safe and healthy work environment by establishing and enforcing organization standards; adhering to legal regulations

Product Safety

  • Responsible for completing required paperwork accurately and honestly.
  • Adheres to all corporate cGMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices), established SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) and all Product Safety policies.
  • Adheres to all Contamination control programs and procedures as applicable.

Leadership/Interpersonal Skills

  • Builds professional working relationships at all levels of the organization
  • Communicates effectively, both written and verbal, across the organization

  • 5+ years in a supervisory or lead role in fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Ability to shift to changing priorities
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Experience with ERP systems
  • Ability to analyze problems, determine root cause, and develop corrective actions.
  • Demonstrates sound and ethical decision-making, even under pressure.
  • Ability to work interdepartmentally and at all levels of the organization
  • Strong communication skills
