We are pleased to announce that we will officially change the name of our company from U.S. Cosmetics Corporation to Miyoshi America, Inc. effective January 1, 2016. This name change is part of the Miyoshi Group’s global branding strategy and aligns all of the global Miyoshi site names.

ACT Treatment Shown at 2011 SCC Technology Showcase

The SCC 2011 Annual Scientific Meeting and Technology Showcase was held in New York City on December 8 and 9, 2011. U.S. Cosmetics joined in the excitement by
presenting a poster titled “Novel Hybrid Surface Treatment for Cosmetic Formulations” featuring the ACT surface treatment. ACT surface treatment uses a proprietary
process that allows for simultaneous surface treatment of three distinct chemistries – 1) vegetable amino acid, 2) metal soap and 3) silane. These surface treatments used
individually are well known to provide unique attributes and functionality when formulated into cosmetics and skin care products. When combined into a hybrid triple
treatment, ACT treatment provides synergistic performance benefits far superior to conventional single surface treatments.
This marks the first time U.S. Cosmetics has participated in the Technology Showcase, but it certainly won’t be the last!
