Quality Control Line Inspector

The QC Line Inspector will perform a variety of quality control test and inspection functions on materials, equipment, systems, and documentation at various stages of the production process to maintain quality and reliability of products.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluates and advances cGMP compliance in production areas.
  • Generates and implements initiatives that promote continued improvement and enhanced quality in production areas.
  • Investigates and authors operations deviations.
  • Performs root cause analysis.
  • Proposes corrective actions both immediate and long term.
  • Generates change controls.
  • Assess MR efficiency and accuracy with operators, recommends and initiates improvements where necessary.
  • Conducts environmental monitoring including contact plates for required production equipment.
  • Conducts line clearance inspections on product equipment and areas prior to manufacturing product. Revises and updates Line Clearance documentation when appropriate.
  • Issues and tracks DCR work orders.
  • Works with Maintenance to perform Daily monitoring of water system. Reviews weekly sanitization hose cleaning Controls all PM and maintenance that occurs on the water system
  • Inspects incoming component materials including, but not limited to, drums, pails, and plastic bags.
  • Conducts finished product sampling.
  • All other duties assigned.

 

 

 

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge GMP policies and procedures.
  • Excellent communications skills, verbal and written.
  • Well organized.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Willingness to assist others.
  • Strong math skills.
  • Able to use PC, calculator, office equipment, and QC Lab equipment.
