Position Summary: 

The Samples Assistant supports Miyoshi America sales efforts as well as expends existing business by processing customer requested samples. The Samples / R&D Assistant is also responsible for supporting the output of the R&D department.

Responsibilities:

• Processes and qualifies sample requests received through sales team or directly from customer in a timely manner.
• Enters sample requests into database, gathers all relevant documentation, ships samples.
• Follows up with customers and sales team as needed
• Supports all R&D (development and application) work by conducting a variety of laboratory tests and projects
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
• Keen attention to detail
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint

This position is located in our Dayville, CT facility
