Mica CM-10

The Miyoshi group has identified a natural mica, called Mica CM-10, that offers a pure, white color with a very sharp particle size, to impart a luxurious feel to cosmetic formulations in both powder and liquid applications.  Since the Mica CM-10 is very pure, with few impurities like iron, the powder remains white, even when wetted with oil, compared to other natural mica products in the market.  Mica CM-10 is available in both its untreated state, as well as surface treated with a variety of innovative surface treatments from natural treatments to silicone treatments.

The average particle size of mica is approximately 10 microns, making it ideal for foundations, that can benefit from its increased adhesion to the skin.
